The Zippit Anti-Tangle Earphones supply a neat zipper design as the cable, and retails for a reasonable cheap price. However, are these earphones suitable for you? This review is divided into the three main factors people consider when purchasing earphones, along with my overall take on this product; such as if I think it's worth purchasing or not. I hope my review helps you to conclude if these earphones are right for you. 

Looks and Design

The Zippit Earphones have a cable design different from all other earphones on the market, being that the cable replicates a zipper. Not only does it look like one, but it works like one too. The fact that you are able to unzip the cable, adjusting the seperation length between the left and right earbud is great because it makes task such as sharing earphones with your friends way easier. Although this sounds like a simple task, normal earphones have a preset length for how much the left and right earphones seperate, making it common for earbuds to fall out of your ear from the slightest movements when sharing earphones with someone else. The zipper design also makes the earphones tangle free as stated in the products name. Sure it makes your cable way thicker than normal earphones, but I would definitely trade off a thick cable for a tangled one.

Not only are the earphones design useful, but it's also made to apeal and catch others eyes. Now depending on which colour you chose, some may pop and stand out more than others. However, I own the black ones which are quite low profile, that is, until I show my friends the design of the earphones; every single persons reaction was the same which is "Wow, those earphones are so cool! Where'd you get them?". These earphones are also compatible with the majority of devices (with a standard 3.5mm headphones jack).

Audio Quality 

After using these earphones for the past 2 weeks, I have nothing special to say about the audio quality because it's simply average. I tried listening to different genres and noticed that acoustic songs didn't sound very crisp, infact it was a little muddy. The base was decent, but it wasn't booming or prominent. These earphone also supply some noise isolation, but you're still able to hear others if they're talking to you. 

Durability and Comfort

When purchasing these earphones you get 2 different sized silicone eartips, regular and large. Although I wish they would have supplied 3 sizes of eartips like most companies, I found one pair to fit perfectly. The silicone eartips made a nice seal when using them, and supplied a good amount of comfort like most silicone tipped earphones. I could probably use these for an hour to two easily, but I would not use them for jogging because at times, they may fall out of your ears if you are constantly moving around alot.

As for durability, these earphones could have been built better. The material they are made from does not feel very solid because it's all plastic, but it will probably hold up long enough to get your moneys worth from it. The zipper moves up and down well, howerver I did notice that you must fully extend the cable to get it to zip smoothly. 

Bottom Line

Overall, these earphones are directed to those who do not want to pay too much for earphones, yet looks and design still matters. These earphones are great for just throwing around in your bag for on the go, and you do not have to worry about them being tangled if you stuff them into your pocket. These earphones are for casual music listeners, not avid music fans whom seek earphones with the best audio quality, but more just for looks and to have an extra pair hanging around. For the price these earphones are decent. Although these earphones are not the best for their price range, they will definitely get the job done and the unique design it supplies is unlike any earphones I have ever seen. Therefore I would give these earphones a rating of an 8/10, docking off points for their need of improving the audio and build quality.
